I’ve always believed there had to be a better way to learn.

School was a struggle for me.

Not because I didn’t care — but because my mind worked differently. ADHD, racing thoughts, impatience with sitting still… I just wanted to learn everything the way I learned the Alphabet.

When I was studying electrical engineering, I thought: Maybe I could turn study into songs — lessons you could sing, learn by rhythm, feel instead of force. And I wrote little verses to speak on electrical components. But the world’s subjects are huge… medicine, trades, languages… and turning all of that into perfect songs for every student? Unfeasible.

So I shelved that dream.

But years later, while working quietly on a language game for myself — the bones of what would become Tetrahedron — it struck me:

These card suits could teach anything?

What if every big subject — medicine, plumbing, Māori, law — could be broken down into small, perfect pieces?

Cards you could hold, shuffle, test, master — anytime, anywhere — without computers or classes?

What if the system worked for prisoners, apprentices, busy parents, struggling students — even for someone like me, who learns sideways and fast and different?

And that’s how Tetrahedron was born.

A portable university in a box.

A system to turn chaos into knowledge, doubt into skill, failure into mastery.

It’s not built by scholars locked in glass towers.

It’s built by someone who’s lived life raw — mistakes, setbacks, dark nights, and hard lessons included.

But that’s why it works.

Because learning should belong to everyone.

Whether you’re studying for a medical degree, a trade certificate, or learning te reo Māori in prison.

No screens. No wifi. Just you, the cards — and victory.

I made Tetrahedron because the world forgot there’s another way.

I’m here to remind it.

"Master the skills and knowledge that matter, one card at a time."

"Tetrahedron scales with you — from language learning to professional mastery."

Can I play Tetrahedron: Medicus and become a Doctor in New Zealand?

No — playing Tetrahedron: Medicus alone won’t make you a doctor. Becoming a doctor requires years of dedicated study, clinical training, and hands-on experience beyond exam prep.

But here’s the exciting part: Tetrahedron: Medicus is built on a powerful, carefully crafted content protocol that applies to all Tetrahedron games. This protocol ensures every card is designed to maximize your learning, recall, and real-world application.

Medicus draws directly from real medical school mock exams, licensing standards, and professional knowledge — helping you prepare thoroughly for key exams like:

  • Medical school written tests
  • Clinical assessments
  • Licensing exams such as USMLE Step 1 (USA), AMC (Australia), PLAB (UK), and NZREX (New Zealand)

What makes Medicus stand out are the scenario cards — these put you into realistic clinical situations, sharpening your critical thinking and helping you practice applying knowledge just like you will in real life. This hands-on style of learning builds confidence and deep understanding, so you’re not just memorizing — you’re truly ready for the challenges ahead.

In short, Tetrahedron: Medicus isn’t a shortcut to becoming a doctor, but it is an incredibly powerful study partner that helps you master your exams and prepare for the journey.

Do you offer any online content?

No.

However;

We’re excited to be developing the Tetra app alongside the board game, designed to bring the power of Tetrahedron right to your fingertips.

The app will let you:

  • Access thousands of cards tailored for different professions and exam levels
  • Customize study decks based on your learning needs
  • Engage with interactive scenario challenges to deepen your understanding
  • Track your progress and get instant feedback
  • Connect with a community of learners on the same journey

Right now, the app is in active development. We’re focusing on a clean, intuitive design that’s easy to use but packed with powerful learning tools. Imagine swiping through cards, tapping to reveal answers, and diving into realistic scenarios that prepare you for real-life situations — all on your phone or tablet.

We’re aiming to launch a beta version soon, so stay tuned! It’s shaping up to be a game-changer in exam prep and professional learning.

Thanks for being part of the Tetrahedron journey!

“Tetrahedron has completely transformed the way I approach learning. The combination of play and study has made me more engaged and motivated to master new skills. Highly recommend!”
